I am a graduate from Emerson College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism. I honed my writing and editorial skills as Digital Editor and Style Writer for Your Magazine, Emerson’s lifestyle magazine.
Outside of school, I worked as a blogger for fashion tech company, Shopping Cart Technologies, Inc. for over six months, interned at Boston magazine during the summer of 2015, and at Boston Common magazine from January to April 2016.
Upon graduating from Emerson, I penned a feature piece that was published in DigBoston and made the cover story for the May 5, 2016 issue.
While freelancing as a post-grad, I took the plunge and lived in Athens, Greece for a pair of months while working a digital marketing gig for a travel agency startup, Greeking.me.
On this website, you’ll find my published writing, (originally seen in various platforms and publications) and original content and photography.
As a young journalist and as someone who has many interests, I don’t follow a particular “beat” but I do like to write about whatever I find timely, engaging, inspiring, or informative. Sometimes that means profiling a budding entrepreneur, featuring a social justice rally, or covering a political race.
However, I do have a personal passion for pop culture (especially how it relates to society at large), women’s empowerment, budget traveling, and pursuing a holistic lifestyle.
